Observation Tower is situated at the highest location of Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. At the same time, it is the transit station for Skyline and Sun Moon Lake Ropeway. It is the second entrance of Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village.

Located at the pivotal position of Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, the rock engraved with the emblem of Kaohsiung's Wanshan Tribe is said to possess special power. In addition, the nearby Shuiyaun Temple, with Tudigong (God of the Soil and the Ground) as its main patron, has a stone tablet imprinted with “gratitude for blessings and their well-spring” to commemorate the legendary story about how workers dug for water during the establishment of the Park.

Totems from indigenous Americans, Polynesians, and Taiwanese indigenous tribes can all be found here, providing comparisons between different indigenous art.

The construction of Cherry Blossom Garden in the center of the park was supervised by Sky Hung, the first general manager of the park. Thus, it is also called SKY Garden to commemorate Hung’s contributions during his tenure.

Located beside the Atayal area, the lake is surrounded by cherry blossoms. The pond has Koi fish and pygmy water lilies. When the cherry blossoms bloom in the spring, there will be a romantic light show, creating a dreamy and beautiful scene. The place was nominated as one of the eight best scenic spots around Sun Moon Lake in 2018.

The indigenous sculpture park next to Cherry Blossom Lake is surrounded by five-needle pine trees. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of masterpiece art works blending into the luxuriant surroundings.

Along the forest trail between the Thao area and the Wulu Bunun area, there are owl-themed sculptures, as well as large stone sculptures scattered around the forest, which depict legends from different tribes. A stroll in the forest is equivalent to a trip to an art museum without walls.

There are cherry blossoms everywhere in the park. Among all of these, the biggest area with cherry blossom trees is the Yae Sakura Cherry Blossom Forest. Meanwhile, Cherry Blossom Boulevard is the best place to enjoy the pink Fuji cherry blossoms, which provides particularly spectacular scenery.
