    The houses that represent each indigenous architectural style are set up along the mountainous terrain. It is advisable for visitors to take the ropeway to the Observation Tower and then slowly walk down the footpath for a relaxing stroll around the villages, where they can experience the carefree indigenous lifestyles.

PAIWAN
This place presents the traditional Paiwan architecture and ritual square. There are also various vivid wax sculptures on display. The Paiwan Village is close to Ritual Theater, Formosan Aboriginal Museum, Costume Rental, and Color Beads Worship, so many experience activities can be found here, making the place a must-visit destination for cultural experiences.

RUKAI
Apart from the chief’s house, there is a significant Danan Men’s House that is worth visiting. Every afternoon, sweet potatoes made on traditional stoves are served to visitors. You can also try making clay pots at the clay pot workshop.

AMIS
The Amis Village shows the most representative ancestral hall and houses of the Afalong tribe. Unlike other indigenous groups, the columns of the ancestral hall have special carved patterns. Meanwhile, the nearby pond symbolizes the Pacific Ocean since the Amis live close to the sea, just like the Tao.

TAO
The Tao used to be called the Yami. The Tao reside across Orchid Island, a mountainous island facing the sea. Their traditional houses are built half below ground; this special architectural style is able to withstand typhoons. The Tao traditional houses and fishing boats are unique.

PUYUMA
The “Young Men’s House” displayed here is a stilt house that is unique and rare, rendering it an iconic building. There are also wax figures demonstrating the Puyuma people’s monkey ritual, annual ritual, flower head wreath ritual and swinging, enabling visitors to learn more about the Puyuma culture.

BUNUN
The Bunun Village is located in the middle of the park. Apart from houses, there is also a rice wine story museum. Also, visitors can play with traditional toys like spinning tops at the square or try stone barbecue at Bunun Barbecue.

THAO
The Thao reside around Sun Moon Lake. The houses on display here are two functional houses: The Owl House and Bamboo Rice. The neighboring Pestle Music Theater provides all sorts of musical instrument performances. Visitors are encouraged to try the instruments themselves. The bamboo rice and millet ice sold here are extremely authentic and popular among visitors.

TSOU
The main building in the Tsou Village is the assembly house called Kuba, the center of the community. Important tribal affairs and rituals all take place here. The Yono tree is regarded as a scared tree. There is also a Leather Craft Workshop nearby, which introduces the Tsou’s famous leather craft.

ATAYAL
The Atayal Village shows the traditional houses of the Atayal and the Sediq. There are also a facial tattoo museum, fabric display, and introduction to the Musha Incidents, together with wax sculptures, stone sculptures, and artefacts. In addition, there is an archery range where visitors can experience bow hunting.

SAISIAT
The Saisiat Village displays a handful of bamboo houses. Also, wax figures are used to introduce the most mysterious Saisiat ritual, The PaSta'ay Ritual. Since the Saisiat Village is close to Amusement Isle, it is recommended to visit here along with the Atayal Village and Cherry Blossom Lake after visiting the attractions of Amusement Isle.
